I grew up hating my curly hair. Now I have become to realize that the first thing people notice about me when they first meet me is my hair and oftentimes this is what they compliment me on because they do not like their own straight hair.

As you grow up curly hair becomes beautiful on a woman. Not sure for a guy. Especially if he starts balding.If he has straight silky hair he can at least cover the balding part with flowing locks ;-) .

oh nooo! are you talking about combover? That is not attractive at all. Some guys should accept the fact that they are balding and they still look good, with or without hair ;)

Things that really matter

I remember once when I was in school, couple of friends suggested skipping the class and going to see a movie. Of course the nerd in me couldn't handle the stress of missing a lecture. So I announced that I wouldn't go with them but I would gladly go to class and share my notes with whoever likes to have them later. I don't recall the content of that lecture nor do I recall the course but I never forget that I didn't watch 'the Banu Ordibehesht' with my friends.

I was very excited about listing to her. When I bought the ticket, I told to myself that was an early birthday present for me. I went for the talk to be inspired and to figure out why this woman was so successful as she was. Although I never regret going to that talk (since I learned one or two things), the talk was not as inspiring as I hoped. I had heard better talks before. She is not one of those people that I call gifted public speakers. She was witty and smart but didn’t really do it for me. However, what I learned was that I can be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.
