I was very excited about listing to her. When I bought the ticket, I told to myself that was an early birthday present for me. I went for the talk to be inspired and to figure out why this woman was so successful as she was. Although I never regret going to that talk (since I learned one or two things), the talk was not as inspiring as I hoped. I had heard better talks before. She is not one of those people that I call gifted public speakers. She was witty and smart but didn’t really do it for me. However, what I learned was that I can be a rainbow in someone’s cloud. Things that really matter
I remember once when I was in school, couple of friends suggested skipping the class and going to see a movie. Of course the nerd in me couldn't handle the stress of missing a lecture. So I announced that I wouldn't go with them but I would gladly go to class and share my notes with whoever likes to have them later. I don't recall the content of that lecture nor do I recall the course but I never forget that I didn't watch 'the Banu Ordibehesht' with my friends.
Everyone will have a bad day. Eveyone will be humiliated at some point in their life. Today was my turn. I keep telling myself to not feel too bad. It's not working!!!

Our "winter" is almost over. A few rainy days and that's it! I envy the snow and the "real winter" you have experienced. I have a lot of catching up to do with your blogs, so I will get busy. Be good azizam, stay warm, and take care. Peesh be sooy e Nowruz.
I love snow very much, and it is more sweet when it snows when nobody expects it!

Bahaari bashi dooste man.
But it is nice to experience four sessions, specially the winter. I love to be the first person to walk in the snow covered street in the morning.
