I just read this post. It breaks my hearth everytime I get to know more about other people's reality. I do believe in God. I am just wondering how long people have to wait to see justice.

Things that really matter
I remember once when I was in school, couple of friends suggested skipping the class and going to see a movie. Of course the nerd in me couldn't handle the stress of missing a lecture. So I announced that I wouldn't go with them but I would gladly go to class and share my notes with whoever likes to have them later. I don't recall the content of that lecture nor do I recall the course but I never forget that I didn't watch 'the Banu Ordibehesht' with my friends.

I was very excited about listing to her. When I bought the ticket, I told to myself that was an early birthday present for me. I went for the talk to be inspired and to figure out why this woman was so successful as she was. Although I never regret going to that talk (since I learned one or two things), the talk was not as inspiring as I hoped. I had heard better talks before. She is not one of those people that I call gifted public speakers. She was witty and smart but didn’t really do it for me. However, what I learned was that I can be a rainbow in someone’s cloud. Everyone will have a bad day. Eveyone will be humiliated at some point in their life. Today was my turn. I keep telling myself to not feel too bad. It's not working!!!

The letter is very emotional and contains many fact, except the implicit connection it assumes between inflation and eliminating subsidies, which are two separate phenomena.
The first one is an ongoing problem for many decades in Iran. The latter was probably the best thing AhmadiNejad did in his life.
why do you say eliminating subsidies was a good thing?
