Last night, surrounded by some friends, enjoying the sweet taste of proudness, I celebrated in silence without anyone knowing what was going on in that mind of mine. I just listened to what others had to say about him. He has changed for better and all is because of me. Only if he knew how good I was for him since I am not going to try convincing him of this fact.

Daisy jaan, if you think about it, appreciating what we have around us is an art that one can only perfect with practice ... I really like to see people who are thankful for what they have in life

Things that really matter

I remember once when I was in school, couple of friends suggested skipping the class and going to see a movie. Of course the nerd in me couldn't handle the stress of missing a lecture. So I announced that I wouldn't go with them but I would gladly go to class and share my notes with whoever likes to have them later. I don't recall the content of that lecture nor do I recall the course but I never forget that I didn't watch 'the Banu Ordibehesht' with my friends.

I was very excited about listing to her. When I bought the ticket, I told to myself that was an early birthday present for me. I went for the talk to be inspired and to figure out why this woman was so successful as she was. Although I never regret going to that talk (since I learned one or two things), the talk was not as inspiring as I hoped. I had heard better talks before. She is not one of those people that I call gifted public speakers. She was witty and smart but didn’t really do it for me. However, what I learned was that I can be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.
