I was very excited about listing to her. When I bought the ticket, I told to myself that was an early birthday present for me. I went for the talk to be inspired and to figure out why this woman was so successful as she was. Although I never regret going to that talk (since I learned one or two things), the talk was not as inspiring as I hoped. I had heard better talks before. She is not one of those people that I call gifted public speakers. She was witty and smart but didn’t really do it for me. However, what I learned was that I can be a rainbow in someone’s cloud. I know it is sometimes more difficult than it sound, but keep trying ;)
One thing that works for me though: do small tasks as if they are the only thing that matter, finish them and feel happy ... this (e.g. cleaning dishes) works well for me!
